Our Story
Dr. Nicole Lackner graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2000 and opened The Holistic Health Center of Peoria the following year. From the beginning, she chose the Gonstead technique — one of the most precise and thorough systems in chiropractic — because she believed Peoria families deserved care that targets the exact source of their problem.
Over more than 20 years, Dr. Lackner has built a practice rooted in trust. She sees infants struggling with their first milestones, expectant mothers seeking comfort through pregnancy, athletes recovering from injury, and seniors who want to stay active. Every patient gets the same careful, individualized approach.
The Holistic Health Center is also home to Trinity Wellness, offering energy healing and hypnotherapy as complementary care. As the center grows, new practitioners are joining — including additional chiropractors and wellness providers — so the vision of a true holistic health hub in Peoria continues to take shape.
